I can honestly say I'm a little creeped out.

Okay, okay. So I was just watching TV while talking to SM on Skype, right? Suddenly, my TV and cable box turn off, and instead of digitally displaying the time, the box displays - - - -.

I can't turn my TV on by remote control or by pressing the power button on the TV, and I try multiple times to do it to the cable box to no avail other than the hyphens being suddenly animated. The dashes become words that scroll across the screen soon enough, such as FLASH_ _ _ _ and ErASE.

This continues one and off for about ten minutes, and I still can't turn the TV back on to at least see what the fuck my cable box is trying to pull. Hello, Skynet. My dad's TV turns on fine, so it displays a fucking green console page with hundreds of line of code for an update. I go back to my room, and then the cable box jumps to animated boxes.

Then, and only then, my TV turns on by itself -- only once the cable box decides it is time to turn it back on.

What the fuck, Time Warner Cable?

I know that now. It just never rebooted like that before. It usually just turns off or something, then back on.
